La leggenda narra della figlia di Erode il Grande che dopo la morte in guerra del marito    e reagendo alla volgarità dei tanti uomini che vogliono approfittare della sua freschezza, diventa seguace di Lilith , il demone  del sesso ,colei che  và disturbare gli uomini che dormono soli…. Per questo  Berenice viene  additata  dai benpensanti come una “donna persa “…. Ma , alla fine una scelta estrema farà splendere  la sua anima, pura , sincera  libera  … dando una lezione  a tutti gli ipocriti….
